Datachain Administration Console Documentation
Who is the Datachain Administration Console for?
The Administration Console is specifically intended for DataChain Administrators who are responsible for managing users, groups, and modules of their Organization.
It also allows all users to view and manage their own account and user preferences.
What does it bring for user management?
The Administration Console provides an overview of the users and groups of your Organization and allows you to manage access and roles of members across the different Modules (DC Core, DC Maestro, DC Marketplace, etc …).
How does the Administration Console work?
The Administration Console centralizes the management of modules, users, and groups that have access to the entire DataChain Platform.
Main features of the Administration Console
Users
Users include all the people referenced for your Organization.
Depending on whether the Platform is deployed in an external or internal provisioning mode, you can manage users and associate them with groups (create, delete, modify).
Groups
Groups simplify the management of access to modules from the Console itself as well as finer-grained access to resources within each module.
Depending on whether the Platform is deployed in an external or internal provisioning mode, you can manage groups and the members of each group (create, delete, modify).
Modules
All modules available for your Organization are visible from the Console.
You can manage the metadata (visible to the module members) as well as the members (users or groups) and their respective roles (Administrator, user, and creator) in order to define the overall level of rights allocated to them for each module.
