The formulas Datachain enable data to be processed and cross-referenced at different strategic levels of the value chain: Business Entities, DataBlocks and HandleData data sources.
These formulas call functions, characterised by a type of input (argument) and output (return) values.
DataChain offers more than 250 unit functions for creating the formulas detailed on this page.
Some formulas are marked as deprecated (displayed crossed out in DataChain): they will be removed in the next major version (9.0). We recommend that you stop using these formulas in favour of other formulas specified in the title of each deprecated formula. |

Purpose: To know the position of a value in a list. The position is not based on zero, but on an index based on 1.
