Management of referenced DataChain Instances
In summary
DC-Maestro does not allow actions on DataChain Instances or users (these actions must be performed by a DataChain administrator, in DataChain) |
Referencing Instances
DC-Maestro makes it possible to reference several DataChain Instances connected to the same user account manager (KeyCloack, or other).
To reference an Instance, the user must have the DC-Maestro Administrator role.
To sequentially follow the steps for referencing an Instance, refer to the tutorial Referencing an Instance.

Modify an Instance
It is possible to modify an Instance at any time.

To modify the connection parameters or metadata of the Instance, click on the icon visible when hovering over the Instance card from Instances list.
Instance dereferencing
Dereferencing has no impact on the DataChain Instance: the action is only visible in DC-Maestro.
To dereference an Instance, click on the icon visible when hovering over the Instance card from Instances list, then on
, at the bottom left.
Validate the action from the confirmation popup: the Instance is instantly deleted from DC-Maestro.
It is not possible to delete an Instance that contains Schedules. |
