Guide: Referencing a DataChain Instance in DC-Maestro
Only DC-Maestro Administrator can reference DataChain Instances in DC-Maestro. |
Introduction
The selection of an available DataChain Working Instance conditions the creation of Schedules for DC-Maestro users.
To reference an Instance, you must be logged in with a DC-Maestro administrator account.
Once connected, click on from the left menu and fill in the fields.
Set metadata
In order to make it easier for users to understand, we recommend that the linked the name visible in the instance of the target DC-Core product.
This information is visible at the top left of the DataChain menu, and can be modified by a DataChain administrator from the Instance administration settings.
The description provides contextual information about the Instance.
Public and private addresses
In order for DC-Maestro to communicate with the DataChain Instance, you must enter the Instance address.
This information is visible in the address bar of the browser from pages of the DataChain Instance to reference.
In some cases, a private address will be required in addition to the public address.
Uncheck the Same as public address option and enter the parameters for the private address.
Once the form has been correctly completed, click on the button
Check connection
As soon as the Instance is added, and each time you return to the page, DC-Maestro checks the connection with the DataChain Instance.
